A portion of NRDC works to bring business and government together in order to establish policies that are good for the economy and the environment. In addition to his numerous leadership roles, Kennedy has published a number of books, including the New York Times bestseller Crimes Against Nature (2004); The Riverkeepers (1997); and Judge Frank M. Johnson Jr: A Biography (1977).
